Carrie lives and works in Suffolk. She trained at Ipswich Art School, Maidstone College of Art and the Royal College of Art.
She works in a wide variety of mediums, and has illustrated books for various publishers including Hamish Hamilton, Ward Lock, Mammoth Books, and most recently, Salmon Poetry in Ireland.
Carrie also has her own greeting card company, Hallo Cards, which have become well known both in the UK and abroad.
She has exhibited in galleries throughout East Anglia and in the South of France where she lived and worked early in her career, and her work is in numerous private collections in Britain, Europe and America.
She has had a series of exhibitions in Walberswick and Southwold during the last three summers showing paintings and prints with the theme of Suffolk coastal life.
